Vertical Balcony Makeover: 12 Plants for Railings and Floor

A layered balcony garden designed for small, high rise balconies. Plants at railing height and floor level give colour and fragrance without taking up much floor space.

What you get

• 2 Areca Palms (approx. 2 ft) for shaded corners
• 4 railing plants: Petunia, Dianthus, Dwarf Bougainvillea and trailing Periwinkle
• 6 floor plants: Mogra, Hibiscus, Kaner, Raat ki Rani, Rose and Periwinkle
• All plants potted and ready to place
• A simple care guide for every plant

The layout

• Corners: Areca Palms add height and green in the shadier spots.
• Railing: compact flowering plants bring colour up to eye level.
• Floor: fragrant and flowering plants fill the deck. Mogra and Raat ki Rani scent the evenings, while Hibiscus and Rose bloom by day.

Care at a glance

Railing pots dry out fastest in wind and sun, so check them daily in summer. Floor plants need a deep watering when the top inch is dry. Petunia and Dianthus are winter flowers and are best enjoyed from October to March.

How it works

1. You order. Pick the package that fits your space.
2. We call you. Our team asks about your rooms or balcony: how much sun, how much space and the look you like.
3. We curate. We hand pick healthy plants to suit your light, Delhi weather and the current season.
4. We deliver in one go. Every plant arrives potted and ready to place, on a delivery slot that suits you.
5. You get a care guide. Simple watering and light notes for every plant, so beginners can keep them thriving.

Perfect for

• Small apartment balconies
• Balconies with railings and limited floor space

Pets and kids

Some common houseplants are toxic if chewed. If you have pets or small children, tell us when we call and we will lean towards pet friendly choices and suggest safe placement.

Plant varieties change with season and availability. Every package is curated for your space, so exact plants may differ from photos. Plant sizes are a mix of small, medium and large.
