Balcony Starter Set of 6 Plants in 6 Inch White Pots

Six easy balcony plants with very different looks: a lucky succulent, a soft fern, colourful Coleus, purple Rhoeo, useful Aloe Vera and a Paan creeper.

What you get: 6 plants

• Jade (Crassula ovata): a lucky succulent with thick round leaves
• Fern (Nephrolepis): soft, feathery fronds for shady spots
• Coleus (Coleus): velvety leaves in bold colour patterns
• Rhoeo (Tradescantia spathacea): sword leaves, green on top and purple below
• Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis): a useful succulent with soothing gel in its leaves
• Paan (Piper betle): heart shaped betel leaves for your own paan
• 6 matching 6 inch white plastic pots

Where to place them

Jade, Aloe Vera, Coleus and Rhoeo enjoy sun. Keep the Fern and Paan in a shadier spot of the balcony.

Care guide

• Sun: Place them where they get at least 4 to 6 hours of sun. A sunny balcony or terrace is ideal.
• Water: Check each pot daily in Delhi summers and water when the top inch is dry. Water much less in winter.
• Water less: Jade and Aloe Vera store water, so water them only when the soil is fully dry.
• Tip: Fern likes shade and moist soil. Mist it in dry Delhi months.
• Pets: Some plants in this set are toxic if chewed. Keep them out of reach of pets and small children. Fern is the pet friendly one here.
